• "Dos Cielos", restarant. Barcelona

• Toscana... the landscapes, people, wine, food, life.

• "The rest is noise" e "Listen to this" by Alex Ross

• The burgers in Savannah, GA. Just delicious

(I can't remember the place's call, thought).

• The Bravo Elite, by Bob Benedetto & Benedetto Guitars

• Pastéis de Belem. Belem, Lisbon, if possible with a good coffee.

• "Campo Belo" by Anthony Wilson

• 'Nou" restaurant, SP. Great food and vibe.

• The great and kind people in Bern and Basel ( Switzerland).

• the vibrant people and great trappist beers in Belgium.

• 'Modernidade Líquida' by Zigmunt Bauman

• San Francisco and San Diego's people and vibe, love it.

• New York's Third Rail Coffee place.

The Four Seasons DVD

Really honored to be part of this amazing project, an homage to the work of italo-american guitar makers based in NY. This lovely suite composed by Anthony Wilson was recorded at The Metropolitan Museum, with the wonderful colleagues, friends and guitarists Anthony, Julian Lage & Steve Cardenas.

Why?

Nesta última viagem com o Quinteto (Novembro '11 ) fiquei impressionado com essa linda imagem que o Brasil vem desfrutando pelo mundo: "o país do futuro"... "a bola da vez" "saúde, educação perto do ideal"... "economia saudabilíssima"... esses comentários não foram inventados por mim, mas vieram de diversos europeus e americanos por esse mundo afora. Sim! Eu acredito muito em nosso país, sem dúvida de um potencial fantástico, lindo.

Mas não podemos ignorar esse constante freio de mão puxado.

Poderíamos estar ainda em melhores, muito melhores, condições.

E finalmente, depois de uma semana de volta à terra brasilis.... me pergunto: Porque temos de conviver com isso? Será que é tão difícil ser, ou pelo menos tentar ser um bom ser humano, um bom exemplo para as futuras gerações, importando-se minimamente com os outros?

Esse país merece mais.
